Navigate Truth Coaching

I work with religious obligation survivors navigating a path to communicate your truth to yourself, and then sometimes others.

Hey there, fellow “I grew up kinda religious” survivor.

Remember that constant fear of being left behind, not being good enough to live up to expectations? Yeah, me too. That kind of mess can leave you questioning everything, especially your own gut instinct. The obligation of religion connects another’s priorities to your fight/flight/freeze/fawn instict. This causes us to feel like there’s a bear at the door, when all we’ve done is to offend some else’s demand to conform to their thinking.

I’m a coach, not a couselor or guru.

If you are seeking clinical help, please visit psychologytoday.com for the best local providers.

Topics we typically work on:

We’ll learn to identify and make friends with those external and internal voices that seems to keep you stuck.

We will find, and rediscover, the parts to your inner compass, the one that knows what you think and feel (because you are the only you available with first hand knowledge of your experience and preferences).

We’ll ditch the self-doubt and shame, exchanged for tools that help you keep control your thinking brain. You deserve kindness, especially from yourself.

We will select, and customize, conversational and thinking tools to unearth your self/ soul/ psyche/ agency/ identity from the obligations we are told we should focus on and attend to.

Telling the truth is a choice. Being honest with myself is a healthy choice.

Sometimes it is difficult for me to see truth clearly through the rose colored glasses I appear so provoked and offended to take off.

This ain’t about some magic bullet or a one-size-fits-all approach. This is about reclaiming your power, your voice, and your right to live a life that feels good, not one dictated by fear.

So, are you ready to stop waiting for the rapture and start building a life in love with God and all creation?  Let’s get to work.

If this resonates, let’s talk.
