The Enemy (named False-Accuser), after tempting Jesus in the Wilderness

PERSPECTIVE

STORY:

(Historical_Fiction)

I am the most beautiful.

God even reminisced about me (in my glory);

  • the seal of full measure,
  • full of wisdom,
  • and perfect in beauty.

I was in Eden, the garden of God. Precious stones were my clothing, they were my skin. I was the chosen cherub who covers.

Yes – cherub like the beings who are sculpted over the throne of I_AM’s “ark of the covenant”… and I am the one who coversthe tip of his crown.  I have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire on the holy mountain of God. Perfect in my ways from my first day.

  • He says unrighteousness was found in me. He calls it “un-righteousness”; I call it brilliance.
  • He says I invented lies, and I say, “If what I said was wrong, why have I gained power since I accused God of lying.” The job I was created to fulfill is to cover, and I have covered the world with activity.
  • I_AM makes a distinction between violence and peace.
  • I make a distinction between what one can do, and what one will do. Strength, force or whatever it takes to feed the appetite of power – that is the commodity of my realm.

We (my followers and I) may have been thrown off his mountain for being “profane”; but I am the covering cherub from the middle of the stones of fire… my heart was lifted up because of my beauty; that’s not my fault.

I have owned my wisdom because of my brilliance.

I pick up where this all started

In the garden, the baseline of doubt (mixed with appetite for more) was the hook for my lie.  The Christ hadn’t eaten since God’s spirit filled him….

Round 1:

I began with congratulating him for completing his right of passage, “If you are the Son of God, speak so that these stones might be loaves of bread.”

He answered out of Moses’ fifth book, “It is written, ‘Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of God’s mouth.’”

Round 2:

He followed me into the holy city, Jerusalem. I set him on the very top point of the temple, and assured him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will put his angels in charge of you.’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”

Jesus retorted, “Again, it is written, ‘You; do not test the Lord, your God.’”

Round 3:

I brought him to an exceptionally high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory. I extended my offer to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”

Every answer came out of the same part of the fifth book, “Go away, enemy “Because it is written, ‘You are to worship the Lord your God, and you are to only serve him.’”

I left him there.

Jesus fan fiction 20 – John the Baptist story from Luke 3, spoken from the perspective of a patriotic Roman

I remember feeling the sticky on the bottom of my feet with each step as I left our city’s stadium with my parents explaining (again) that every culture across time has included people shouting that God’s judgment is coming, just like the man yelling at us. The people they claim to be doomed are notContinue reading “Jesus fan fiction 20 – John the Baptist story from Luke 3, spoken from the perspective of a patriotic Roman”

Jesus fan fiction 19 – They return, and everything rises to another level

They traveled throughout the villages, announcing the good news for us to turn from knowingly doing wrong to to be forgiven of those wrongs. They healed people everywhere. Having returned… The Sent-ones told about everything they had done! …having cast out many false-accusers, and sick people were healed (without Jesus being there). They told himContinue reading “Jesus fan fiction 19 – They return, and everything rises to another level”

So… you heard that God told them the date for the end?!? (Part 2)

Many Americans are new to dealing with the scare tactics which religious, fear-based leaders use to solidify their position of power by using “the world is ending… are you ready?”  Remember, these people use this tactic to make money and feel powerful… nothing else.   Anyone who claims they have an inside track on whenContinue reading “So… you heard that God told them the date for the end?!? Daniel Part 1 – Let the reader understand

Having just completed a project requiring over a decade of research on the four Gospels of Jesus, there is one point in Matthew and Mark which has been festering in my mind for years. At the same point in these two of the gospel stories that both writers specifically direct, “let the reader understand.” And…Continue reading “Daniel Part 1 – Let the reader understand”

Jesus fan fiction 15 – Full sower sermon sabbath day with Jesus

One morning before church… Jesus’ group was picking some grain for breakfast, and a political-religious leader again accused them of “working on the sabbath.” Jesus tossed his accusation away using scripture (dismantling this guy’s foundation), “Haven’t you read what David did? …when he was hungry, and those who were with him? …How he entered intoContinue reading “Jesus fan fiction 15 – Full sower sermon sabbath day with Jesus”

Jesus fan fiction 14 – John’s followers and religious leaders question

John’s followers told him (in prison) what Jesus was doing. John sent them back, asking if Jesus is The One? In response to, “Should we look for someone else?”, Jesus replied with actions. Diseases, plagues and spirits were healed, and the blind given sight.  Speaking to John’s followers, he said, “Go, tell John what you hearContinue reading “Jesus fan fiction 14 – John’s followers and religious leaders question”
